You can give them as gifts or keep them for yourself to decorate your tree. Replicate this easy clay and rhinestone snowflake ornament by following our instructions. For this project, I used:
Instructions to Make a Clay and Rhinestone Snowflake Ornament 1. Roll out the clay to ¼ of an inch thickness. 2. Using the snowflake-shaped cookie cutter, cut out the shape. 3. Take the oval-shaped cutter, and cut ovals out of the middle of the clay snowflake. 4. Sprinkle the clear glitter on the ornament’s surface. 5. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. 6. Line a cookie sheet with white printer paper. Place the ornament on the paper. 7. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. 8. Remove from the oven and allow the ornament to cool. 9. When cool, place a drop of glue slightly smaller than your rhinestone on the clay snowflake. 10. Using a tweezer or wax tipped tool, place a rhinestone in the glue and gently press down. 11. Allow a little bit of glue to cover the bottom edges of the rhinestone to form a seal. 12. Continue gluing until you’ve attached all the crystal gems. Allow the gem glue to dry for 24 hours, then add a piece of jute twine. Keep it for yourself or give it to someone special!
