Rhinestones Etc started out many years ago as a home based skating dress design/manufacturer. Many years ago. one of our daughters decided she wanted to figure skate. Skating dresses are very expensive and so, having some sewing skill, I began sewing her dresses. Rhinestones are a great way to decorate skating dresses so I searched for a rhinestone wholesaler and began embellishing as well. Swarovski Rhinestones became my go to embellishment for its outstanding quality and variety of colors and sizes.
Then my husband lost his job just at the start of the Great Recession in the early 2000's. He found a new one several states away and we moved. The new ice skating rink already had an established seamstress, so I decided to focus on selling rhinestones. Several years later, my daughter decided to quit skating to focus on another activity. I looked for a new venue to sell my rhinestones on, discovered selling on the internet and Rhinestones Etc was born.
